Have you ever visited Sri Lanka's Talawakale?
Talawakelle is a town in Sri Lanka's Central Province's Nuwara Eliya District, located on the A7 Colombo-Nuwara Eliya route. Sri Lanka's greatest tea-growing region. Talawakelle is 1,198 meters above sea level.

01 Devon Falls.

When you first arrive in this small town, the first thing that will attract your sight is this waterfall.Devon Falls, also known as the 'Veil of the Valley,' is a waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is located 6 km west of Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya District, on the A7 highway, and is named after a pioneer English coffee farmer named Devon. A tributary of the Kothmale Oya, which is a tributary of the Mahaweli River, forms the falls. Devon Falls stands 1,140 meters above sea level. The 97-meter-high waterfall is the country's 19th tallest.
02. St. Clair's Falls

One of Sri Lanka's greatest waterfalls, St. Clair's Falls is also known as the "Little Niagara of Sri Lanka." Six waterfalls are affected by the Upper Kotmale Hydropower Project. The Kotmale Oya, a tributary of the Mahaweli River, cascades into a broad pool over three rock outcrops, passing by a tea estate, from whence the falls acquire their name. It has a total height of 80 meters, a total number of drops of two, and a total width of 50 meters.
03.Mlesna Tea Castle St Clair

If you're passing through Thalawakele on your way to Nuwara Eliya, green tea estates surround Mlesna Tea Castle's restaurant, Thalawakele. This is an excellent place to grab a bite to eat. In addition, the meal menu is delicious. Don't forget to climb to the top of the castle tower for a spectacular view of the St. Claire Falls.
04.Dunsinane Falls

Dunsinane Falls is a 100-meter-high waterfall in Sri Lanka's Nuwara Eliya District. It is located in Pundaluoya village, between the Dunsinan and Sheen Tea Estates. As a result, the falls are frequently referred to as Dunsinane Sheen Falls. The Pundalu Oya river, a tributary of the Kotmale Oya, creates the waterfall.
05.Upper Kotmale Dam

The Upper Kotmale Dam is located in Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka's Central Province. The dam provides water to the country's third-largest hydroelectric power plant.
