Trincomalee is a port city on Sri Lanka's northeast coast. Fort Frederick was erected by the Portuguese in the 17th century on a peninsula. The majestic Koneswaram Temple rests on Swami Rock inside its grounds, a renowned vantage point for blue-whale gazing. The religious compound includes beautiful shrines and a large Shiva statue. Gokanna Temple, located nearby, offers panoramic views of the city and the beach.

And that was the next stop on my journey. I started my journey early in the morning with high aspirations of gathering unique experiences because it was a lengthy trek from Colombo.
On my vacation to Trincomalee, I was fortunate to see Dambulla Royal Cave Temple and the Golden Temple, two of our most prized sites. That was a fantastic venue to learn about Sri Lankan history.
Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka that is located in the country's central region. The rock rises 160 meters above the surrounding lowlands. In the nearby region, there are around 80 recognized caves. The main attractions are distributed among five caverns, each of which has statues and murals.

After viewing the temple, I resumed my journey to my destination.
As previously reported, the trip to Trincomalee took 5 hours and 34 minutes. I arrived at 2:30 p.m. It was a little hot in the middle of April. I simply showered and sat down on my hotel room bed to relax.

My meal was at Trinco Blu by Cinnamon, which was a wonderful spot to dine in a pleasant atmosphere. They had a fantastic and scrumptious buffet with a lot of diversity.

After a lovely dinner at the Cinnamon Hotel in Trinco, I retired to my hotel room for the night.
So I began my second day at Trinco with a lot of notions in my head. So my first trip there was to Pigeon Island. As indicated by the hotel management, I was able to charter a boat to Pigeon Island with several other hotel guests.
The boat left at 10:00 a.m., and we had to traverse the Nilaveli beach. We arrived at that beautiful island in Sri Lanka after about an hour. It is encircled by a blue sea.

Pigeon Island National Park is one of Sri Lanka's two maritime national parks. The national park, which covers 471.429 hectares, is located 1 km off the shore of Nilaveli, a coastal town in the Eastern Province. Pigeon Island is made up of two islands: the huge pigeon island and the mini pigeon island. It is surrounded by a coral reef. It reaches a height of 44.8 meters above mean sea level. The rocky islets encircle the little pigeon island. The national park is located in Sri Lanka's arid zone. The majority falls during the North-eastern monsoon season, which lasts from October to March.

After visiting that gorgeous place, I'll be able to go snorkeling, which is something I've been wanting to do for a long time. And it was a thrilling adventure with amazing memories.
There's also You don't have to be a scuba diver to learn about the amazing undersea world and its grandeur. You float on the surface, wearing a mask, snorkel, and fins, admiring the beautiful coral reefs, rocks, and coral fish below.

After making many memories there, we were able to return to the hotel via boat. Before we went to the hotel, they took us on a boat tour of the Rawana Abyss. It was also a wonderful experience.

Around 1.00 p.m., I was able to arrive at the hotel with other guests, and the hotel had prepared an outstanding sea cuisine meal that was really good.
And that evening in Trincomalee was spectacular. It was an ideal moment to go swimming in the water. With that in mind, I arrived at Marble Beach, which was ideal for watching the sunset in Trinco after a crystal blue sea bath.

And my third day in Trinco was another amazing day. That morning, I opted to spend my time at Fort Frederick. Fort Fredrick, also known as Trincomalee Fort or Fort of Triquillimale, is a Portuguese fort erected on Swami Rock-Konamamalai from the ruins of the world-famous ancient Hindu Koneswaram temple and finished in 1624 CE in Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka.

After finishing my excursion to the fort, I decided to pay a visit to the most sacred location in Trinco, Sri Thirukoneswaram Kovil. The colorful Koneswaram temple, a classical-medieval monument in the Eastern Province city of Trincomalee, stands high above the bay, surrounded on all sides by breathtaking surroundings. The site is a religious pilgrimage site.

With a wonderful few days in Trico Finally, it was time to say good-bye until my return. On the fourth day of my tour, I began returning to Colombo at 10 a.m., and I made sure not to miss visiting Kanniya hot water springs, which is a location with hot wells located near Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. In a square configuration, there are seven wells. Wells are just 3–4 feet deep, and their bottoms are visible. The temperature is rather high, but it varies significantly from spring to spring.
